You did so right answering that troll with humour. Archeology is amazing and often missandertood too. which is your favourite branch of it? :)
(: Hvala ti (I guess?:P). Yes, unfortunately archaeology is often misunderstood. People picture it often like “discovering dinosaurs” or braking into long forgotten temples with a whip and destroying half of the material evidence lol. Actually, our main tool is Patience.
As for my favourite branches: pre and protohistoric archaology, ethnoarchaeology and cognitive archaeology :)
When I was little I wanted to be an archaeologist too, but then I grew up and realized that there were more sirious things to do then playing Indiana Jones.
(I was about to give you a sirious answer but then I realised that it would be a waste of time, since you probably have no idea about what archaeology really is).
